Abu Dhabi Economic Stimulus Initiatives: Supporting businesses and individuals during this time

Support measures available for Abu Dhabi businesses and individuals

Abu Dhabi is committed to supporting businesses and individuals through this time. In March 2020, key measures were announced in an effort to bolster Abu Dhabi’s economy, businesses and individuals.

Economic Stimulus Package

The Abu Dhabi Economic Stimulus Package comprises of 16 initiatives aimed at supporting Abu Dhabi's private sector by sustaining economic activity and facilitating business in the emirate during this time. The wide-ranging initiatives, announced in March 2020, deliver a range of economic benefits for both businesses and individuals.

The Stimulus Package falls under Ghadan 21, Abu Dhabi’s three-year government accelerator programme launched in 2019 to drive the emirate’s development through investing in business, innovation and people.

For more information about how you can benefit from these initiatives, visit the Abu Dhabi Economic Stimulus Package website here.

Financial Initiatives

The Financial Initiatives programme was developed with Abu Dhabi-headquartered banks FAB, ADIB and ADCB in coordination with the Department of Finance and the Department of Economic Development. The 17 initiatives seek to reduce finance-related costs and improve ease of access to financing for individuals and SMEs.
