Nibras Aerospace Park
Tawazun Industrial Park extends its footprint beyond Abu Dhabi city through Nibras Al Ain Aerospace Park, a joint initiative between TIP and Abu Dhabi Airports, dedicated to aerospace, aviation, and defence technology industries. Located in Al Ain, Nibras plays a crucial role in supporting the UAE’s aerospace ambitions by providing a specialized industrial hub for manufacturing, research, and development of advanced aerospace technologies.
Key Highlights
Nibras is strategically located at Al Ain International Airport, allowing for streamlined aircraft assembly, testing, and maintenance operations. The 4,000-meter-long runway is capable of handling the world’s largest aircraft, enabling rapid movement of aerospace components and finished products for global distribution. Nibras is also home to autonomous flight-testing zones, with dedicated areas for UAV and drone testing under controlled conditions. Large scale hangars and facilities for maintenance, repair and overhaul of military and commercial aircraft are readily available, with world leadings facilities available for lease. Al Ain is also home to a growing pool of internationally recognized Emirati aerospace technicians and Nibras maintains partnerships with leading aerospace research institutions such as Khalifa University, UAE University, UAE Space Agency, and international technology and aerospace firms.
